Build the sample using the command prompt
- Open the Command Prompt window and navigate to the MFCaptureD3D directory.
- Type msbuild MFCaptureD3D.sln.
Build the sample using Visual Studio (preferred method)
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the MFCaptureD3D directory.
- Double-click the icon for the MFCaptureD3D.sln file to open the file in Visual Studio.
- In the Build menu, select Build Solution. The application will be built in the default \Debug or \Release directory.
Run the sample
- Navigate to the directory that contains the new executable, using the command prompt or Windows Explorer.
- Type MFCaptureD3D.exe at the command line, or double-click the icon for *MFCaptureD3D.exe to launch it from Windows Explorer.
On startup, the application enumerates the available video-capture devices and begins streaming from the first device in the list.
To select a different capture device, select Choose Device from the File menu.
